DJM Distribution & Supply, Inc. began operations in November 2005 as the sole dealer of Magic -0 for Duchess County, since then we have expanded our service area to include Putnam, Newburgh / New Windsor region of Orange and upper Westchester counties. Magic -0 is a DEC approved liquid deicer and is used in its liquid form as a pre-treater or applied to rock salt in order to increase the effectiveness of the deicer and make it less corrosive. We provide our product in liquid form, pre-packaged bags and bulk treated to various different customers including government agencies, corporate companies, contractors as well as homeowners.

Magic Salt starts out as ordinary rock salt, which is then treated with a liquid, agricultural by-product of the distilling process blended with magnesium chloride. This patented liquid is trademarked as Magic -0 and dramatically transforms rock salt into a new de-icing material. 

Magic -0 is a highly effective de-icing agent made from a patented blend of magnesium chloride and condensed distiller solubles. It is non-toxic, biodegradable and has a corrosion index lower than distilled water.

In 2008 Magic -0 earned “Designed for the Environment” recognition from the EPA. Magic Minus Zero is the only roadway deicer in the USA to be granted this designation and the logo is proudly printed on each bag of Magic Salt distributed.
